About Agrilease
Agrilease is a mobile marketplace that connects Zimbabwean farmers with nearby owners of tractors, harvesters, planters, and excavators, letting them discover and book equipment within a 50–80km radius in seconds. Rental requests, approvals, and secure in-app payments all happen without cash changing hands, with transparent pricing and real-time tracking from booking through pickup. For equipment owners, it turns idle machinery into a source of rental income; for farmers, it removes the geographic and financial barriers that keep mechanization out of reach. The platform is built and based at the Africa University Innovation Hub in Mutare.
